Start by washing your hair with a mild shampoo to remove any dirt, oil, or styling products.

After rinsing out the shampoo, gently squeeze out excess water from your hair. Your hair should be damp but not dripping wet.

Depending on the length and thickness of your hair, dispense an appropriate amount of conditioner into your palm. A general guideline is about a quarter-sized amount for short hair and more for longer hair.

Rub your palms together to evenly distribute the conditioner. Then, starting from the mid-length of your hair, run your hands through the strands, making sure to coat the hair evenly. Focus on the ends, which tend to be drier.

If your hair is prone to tangling, use a wide-tooth comb to help distribute the conditioner more evenly and detangle your hair. Start combing from the tips and work your way up to the roots.

Let the conditioner sit on your hair for the recommended time mentioned on the product label. Typically, it's around 1-3 minutes, but some deep conditioners may require a longer time.

Rinse your hair thoroughly with cool or lukewarm water. Ensure that no conditioner residue is left on your hair, as this can make it feel heavy or greasy.
